About the event
The fundamentals of rifle marksmanship are aiming, stability of hold, breath control, trigger control and follow through
Positional shooting: Choose a stance and grip that work well with the firearm and create a stable firing platform.
Follow through: Maintain aiming, breath control, hold control, and trigger control until the gun settles back into the aiming area after firing.
Trigger control: Trigger control is the final step to making a good shot.
Breathing: Breathe in and out normally, and when you're in the middle of your exhale, you should be ready to fire. Holding your breath can affect your grip and cause tremors.
Grip: Your grip is an important fundamental that can mean the difference between a well-placed shot and a miss.
